Alumni

The Alumni Association at our College has only a brief history. Br Joseph Bouchard, began the association during the late 1970’s. This work was carried on by groups of dedicated members of staff lead variously by Brother Joe, Mr Henry Streulens and Brother Mark Hilton in the years leading up to 1996. Much work on cataloging and preserving the material of our history was carried out by the late Mrs Kath McNamara. All these efforts were consolidated in 1997 following the amalgamation. Our main function at present is to constantly research and update our database of ex-students’ contacts. This enables us to conduct our second function, which is to conduct annual reunions for former students and staff. We concentrate on the graduating years as a focus for these reunions. Each year a sub committee is formed to plan and conduct these reunions. Please let us know if you are interested in being a member of this committee in 2008 or beyond. 

Another way in which we plan to serve our alumni is through E-News editions. Please let us know of any information about any ex-students or staff, which may be of interest to our readers in the future by contacting alumni@cccc.vic.edu.au. Please also pass on this email address to any alumni among your acquaintances to have them update their contact details with us. These details remain confidential.

It is hoped that one day in the future our Alumni Association will become an autonomous body operating independently from the College, serving its members and supporting the current students in a variety of ways. Until then, please help us to grow and develop the association by the methods outlined above.
