Our Curriculum

Junior School

In Years 7 and 8, the curriculum reflects the belief that students in their early secondary schooling benefit from participating in a broad range of core learning opportunities in single sex arrangements. The College has a strong focus on Religious Education, English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Italian and Japanese. In Years 7 and 8 students are also introduced to Technology, The Arts and Civics and Citizenship. Technology offerings include materials technology including wood, plastic, fibre, food and electronic and mechanical systems. Drama, music and visual arts are also undertaken, completing a broad and exciting programme.
As students move into Year 9, the curriculum provides more opportunities for choice within core areas of study and a comprehensive Arts, Technology and Language elective programme. Arts and Technology studies offer our students practical experience of the latest technology and the opportunity to design real solutions to real problems.
