Caroline Chisholm Catholic College is dedicated to learning excellence in a faith-filled, engaged and supportive environment.

Located in Melbourne’s inner western, the College has a vibrant and inclusive learning community that caters for a multicultural, multi-faith student population of about 1470 spread across three campuses on two sites in Churchill Avenue, Braybrook.

We have a positive and settled classroom atmosphere that enables teachers and students to work together effectively. Students are encouraged to be the best they are called to be.

The College has a collaborative environment, and a culture of ongoing learning. Staff receive eight professional learning days a year, along with access to both internal and external professional development opportunities including mentoring/coaching. Eligible staff can also apply for support financially in post-graduate studies.

The College offers a wide variety of subjects including university units for senior students, as well as over 50 VCE subjects. We also offer VCAL and VET subjects, testament to our commitment to catering for varied interests. We have strong and improving NAPLAN and VCE results, particularly in STEM subjects – about 90 per cent of our Year 12 cohort goes to university after graduation.

Our facilities are some of the best in the state and include an indoor heated pool, state-of-the-art 820 seat auditorium, a Trade Training Centre, new science laboratories, a multi-purpose hall with two indoor basketball courts, a performing and visual arts centre at our junior girls campus, a Chapel and a College-owned and operated outdoor education site – Garema-Dumont. We are constantly updating spaces to ensure that we have the best facilities available for staff and students.

Teachers can communicate with parents and students via Compass, our online learning management system, and every staff student receives a notebook computer.
