Work Experience Term 4, 2014

Last week, 28 students from the VCE Industry & Enterprise class had a week away from their studies at school to participate in a week long Work experience program.

The students have been preparing for this event for some time now which included looking at key job search skills such as resume and job application letter writing, telephone techniques, face-to-face contact and interview skills.

I spent a number of days out visiting students and employers during this week and I must say I was so impressed with the feedback I received about the performances of our students.

Congratulations to the students for all their efforts and being such great ambassadors for CCCC. A number of these students have been offered part time positions as a result of their efforts.

Students were involved in a range of work environments including Retail, Hospitality, Education, Healthcare, Office Administration just to name a few. Thanks to Ms.Lisa Barnard who helped me visit the students.
