As we approach the end of the school year, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to every family for the trust you place in our College, and for the countless ways you partner with us to help each young person in our care to flourish. Our mission is to educate each student to their fullest potential within a faith-filled and inclusive community, and this objective truly comes alive through your presence, encouragement and open dialogue with staff. This ideal has formed part of the College’s Annual Action Plan for 2025 and will continue to be an area of focus for us.
This year has been rich in learning, wellbeing and faith experiences. Across classrooms and co-curricular spaces, all our students have experienced commitment from their teachers, who continually embrace high expectations, offer opportunities for leadership, and aim to help your child grow in confidence. Our community has continued to gather for liturgical celebrations and social justice initiatives; senior students deepened reflection and gratitude through retreats and their recent transition programs; and staff continue to apply evidence-informed practice to strengthen engagement, assessment and support under the MACS 2030 Framework and specifically through Vision for Faith, Instruction and Engagement. Our College is vibrant, caring and improvement-focused because the staff care and take up their roles with professionalism and under the ethos of the Ministry of Jesus.
Your child has experienced strategic offerings to enable student voice and agency, in respective Garema camp programs, they have built resilience and teamwork, in wellbeing initiatives that foster respectful relationships they have grown to appreciate their place in a respectful community, and in the everyday kindness that makes our College a welcoming place for all, they have identified how fortunate they are to be members of the community. Thank you for your encouragement, feedback and partnership that help these programs support your child to thrive.
Partnership with families: listening, learning, walking together
A cornerstone of our approach is genuine collaboration with parents and carers. We commit to clear communication, accessible policies and pathways for raising concerns, because student safety, dignity and growth are responsibilities we share. Your insights and participation in information sessions, completion of surveys, attendance at meetings and everyday conversations help to strengthen the culture of care and accountability that surrounds each child.
Our strategic directions also call us to be a community that “dialogues with and celebrates all members as equal partners.” In practice, this happens in our welcoming as we honour and celebrate diversity, when we create more opportunities to come together as a community, and in the creation of richer forums for open dialogue with you. Thank you for engaging so generously in this work throughout the year.
Each day, we strive to live our values of Faith, Acceptance, Compassion and Excellence by being thankful and appreciative, respecting and embracing each person, doing what is right and just, and taking pride in every success. These shared commitments shape our classrooms, our pastoral care and our relationships, and they are the foundation of the hope we hold for each student.
Thank you for the trust you extend to our staff. We remain steadfast in our promise to know each learner, to teach with clarity and compassion, and to provide the structures of prevention, intervention and support that allow all students to grow academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. As partners in your child’s education, we will keep listening, communicating and working together so that every young person is safe, challenged and inspired.
As we prepare for the new year, we take forward the lessons and joys of this one, with gratitude for our families and confidence in the path ahead. May the holiday season be a time of rest, reunion and renewal for you and your loved ones. We look forward to welcoming you back and continuing our shared mission with energy and hope.
My leadership commitment as Principal of the College is to welcome you to be a part of the educational journey of your child. My door is always open, and I welcome you to please visit me so that I can hear your vision, your concerns, celebrations, consideration and reservations, as I know that our unified effort will bring the best out of the community in meeting the best outcomes for the students.
With thanks and blessings,

Our College continues to be a strong presence within the SACCSS system, with two teams representing CCCC at a recent Futsal Tournament.
It was a great day out, with both teams having a mixture of Year 7s and Year 8s in their squad,s and all players displaying good sportspersonship and a real desire to perform well.
The boys performed exceptionally well, reaching the grand final where they unfortunately lost to St Monica’s in extra time golden goal after the game was tied at 4:4 in normal time. An unfortunate ending but the boys were fantastic throughout the tournament.
The girls were competitive in all their games, and while they didn't proceed to the finals, they played exceptionally well and fought to the end!
Overall, a great experience for all students involved. Adrian Josipovic coached the girls team and Tomi Gavran the boys, and we thank them both and all the players for their work in preparing for the tournament.
Hosted by Endeavour Youth Australia, in partnership with the Victorian Government, the Multicultural Youth Leadership Conference was held at the Melbourne Town Hall earlier in the term. Students heard keynote addresses, attended youth-led panels, participated in interactive workshops on racism and AI, and saw open mic reflections and creative performances. It was a wonderful event, and our students really enjoyed their time!
I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity I was given to participate in the Student Conference yesterday. I enjoyed every single workshop and gained so much insight on dreaming and planning a future that reaches your full potential. My favourite part of the event was listening to the last speaker and filling in the worksheet related to our dreams. I truly believe every student would benefit from an event like this one based on the interested and captivated reactions was I receiving from my classmates as I shared my experience.
Kind Regards,
Zoe A.
Our Alumni Reunion Night was held on the 7th of November, and it was amazing to welcome back so many of our previous students! With over 100 attendees from the classes of 1975, 1985, 1995, 2005 and 2015, we heard some amazing stories about the 4Cs of the past!
Thank you to everyone who attended, we look forward to seeing you at the next one.
Our own Mr O'Keefe was recently invited by primary school students at the Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish Primary to come and give a speech on Australian native birds.
The students, who have been learning about native birds in their classes, had heard that we had our very own expert bird photographer and enthusiast at 4Cs, and were incredibly excited to share what they'd learnt in class, what their favourite birds are, and see some of the incredible photos Mr O'Keefe has taken over the years.
Thank you so much to the primary school for the invitation, to Bernard O'Keefe for sharing all his knowledge, and to all the wonderful students for their enthusiasm!
Earlier in the month, three of our Year 10 students, Elise Pasquier, Andre’ Napoli and Mankaran Singh, had the privilege of participating in an Industry Experience Day hosted by Jetstar. During the day, our students heard from a Jetstar pilot, engineer, apprentice, and graduate program employee, who shared insights into their career pathways, daily responsibilities, and what they enjoy most about their roles. A highlight of the experience was visiting the Jetstar hangar and touring one of the aircraft. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to take many photos inside the facilities, but it was an incredible day and really highlighted all the different career paths available in aviation!
Our Year 7 boys recently attended a special program with Eric Agyeman, who shared his experiences as a young man experiencing hardship, and how he grew from those experiences. The session saw themes of belonging, identity and social media use all discussed, with our boys engaging thoughtfully with the topics and their own wellbeing.
The room was filled with energy, curiosity, and moments of quiet reflection. It was more than a talk, it was a call to action for our students to be brave, kind, and thoughtful in how they show up in the world.
Our Christ the King student leaders arranged a Breast Cancer Awareness session during their 'Think Pink' Fundraiser. Students were encouraged to wear some pink on the day, and heard about both ways to keep themselves healthy and from inspiring survivors.
It was a wonderful initiative, and a really thought-provoking day! Well done to our CTK captains for their work and proposal.
The festive season is upon us!
With students finishing up on the 5th of December, 4Cs Christmas celebrations are well underway.
At CTK our students have created some beautiful pieces of art to celebrate advent, and have decorated with handmade paper decorations strung across the halls!
Our Year 11 students participated in a number of activities for their reflection day in Term 4, aimed at helping smooth their transition to Year 12. Students completed a Life Maze, created envelopes that will be used at their Year 12 retreat, wrote letters to themselves and participated in liturgy and prayers.
It was a really meaningful day and we hope students will take what they learned and use it to uplift themselves throughout their final year with us!
Our Year 7 students on both campuses have been hard at work, digging in our garden and providing us with lot's of beautiful flowers!
The planting was done across multiple days, with students in LM at both sites getting in the garden and planting a range small flowering bushes, which both makes our campuses more appealing and feed our native bees!
Each year our College community marks Remembrance day with a small service in LM classes, a moment of silence across the College along with the Last Post, and members of our Junior Leadership attend the local RSL.
This year, Dr Napoleon joined students as they laid a wreath at the local memorial site at Sunshine RSL, remembering those that sacrificed so much for our country.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
A big congratulations to Noah Aquilina and Mhanna Sabah, who have recieved awards from the Brimbank VET Cluster for their outstanding work in their VET subjects.
Noah Aquilina studied Building & Construction, and Mhanna Sabah studies Furniture Making Pathways.
Congratulations on your hard work!

Loving God,
During this month of November, we pause to remember all souls, those we have loved and those who have gone before us into eternal life.
May the memory of their lives inspire us to live with faith, kindness, and gratitude.
