Paul Toney brings more than three decades of experience in education, leadership and pastoral care across both Australian and international school settings. He holds a Master of Educational Leadership and Management from La Trobe University and a Bachelor of Education from Brunel University in London. Paul most recent role was at Loyola College, where he has held a number of senior leadership roles, including Deputy Principal Staff and Compliance, Acting Deputy Principal Staff and Compliance, Head of Co-Curriculum and Head of House. Prior to this, Paul served as Deputy Head of Senior School and Deputy Head of Senior School (Pastoral) at Overnewton Anglican Community College, following earlier leadership roles at Gippsland Grammar, Bury Grammar School for Boys, St Columba’s College and Dulwich College.

Paul values education for its dynamic nature, where no two days are the same, and is deeply committed to building respectful and meaningful relationships with staff and students. As a pastoral and staff leader, he places great importance on being highly visible within the school community and taking time each day to connect with others. Paul takes great pride in maintaining long-lasting connections with former students and staff, knowing that these relationships have made a lasting difference.

Paul is looking forward to establishing himself within the Caroline Chisholm Catholic College community, bringing his extensive experience and expertise to the role. His hope for the future of the College is that it continues to grow as a welcoming, successful and faith-filled community, and is recognised as the Catholic school of choice in the West.
