Loving God,

As we begin this final term of the year,

we pause to thank You for the journey so far

and thank You Lord for the gift of a new school term.

We ask for Your guidance as we embark on this journey.

Fill our hearts with wisdom, patience, and a desire to learn.

Remove any fear or anxiety and replace it with confidence in You.

Send Your Spirit upon us once again, Lord,

and set our hearts ablaze with the love of Jesus.

May His compassion guide our actions,

His courage inspire our efforts,

and His joy fill our community with hope.

Help us to finish this year with gratitude and generosity,

to see You in the faces of those around us,

and to share Your love in all that we do.

May our hearts burn brightly with faith,

so that others may see Your light through us.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
