Welcome to 2026 at Caroline Chisholm Catholic College

As we begin the 2026 school year, I warmly welcome all new and returning families to our vibrant and faith-filled community. It is a privilege to serve you as Principal of the College, and I look forward to continuing our collective work to ensure that every young person at Caroline Chisholm Catholic College is safe, is known and thrives. I thank you for the trust you place in the staff for the education and safety of your child.

Caroline Chisholm Catholic College Six Pillars

In 2026, our College is guided by six key pillars that will shape our growth, strengthen our culture and guide our decisions, alongside the school’s annual action plan, School Improvement Plan and the upcoming College external reviews. The six pillars are:

1. Staff Leadership and Professional Capacity, which aims to build a high-capacity, faith-formed, child-safe professional team committed to learning excellence.

2. Excellence in Instruction, ensuring rich, inclusive, orderly classrooms and high-impact teaching strategies visible in every lesson.

3. Student Engagement, in strengthening attendance, wellbeing, student voice and re-engagement processes so every student participates fully in their learning.

4. Catholic Identity and Mission by deepening our Sacred Heart charism, faith formation and commitment to service, discipleship and the common good.

5. Stewardship of Resources by ensuring our structures, governance, policies and learning environments support sustainable, safe and future-focused growth.

6. Safety, where we uphold rigorous child-safety systems, record keeping, and risk management to protect every young person in our care.

Together, these pillars help shape a community that is academically excellent, spiritually grounded, inclusive and deeply relational.

Partnering With Families

We believe that strong partnerships with families enhance student success. This year, we aim to improve our communication with you by reviewing our channels and methods of communication. We will aim to provide:

· Transparent communication through newsletters, Compass updates, information evenings and parent briefings.

· Community-building events that welcome all families across our three campuses.

· Collaborative decision-making, ensuring parent voice is valued in shaping College life.

· Strengthened wellbeing and learning conversations, with timely feedback and opportunities for parents to connect with teachers.

· Inviting families into the rhythm of College life, including liturgical celebrations, productions, sports events and student showcases.

Join the School Advisory Council or Parents and Friends Network

We warmly invite parents and carers to play an active role in the life of the College by joining either:

· The School Advisory Council – supporting strategic stewardship and community consultation.

· The Parents and Friends Network – fostering community spirit and supporting College initiatives.

If you are interested in joining either group, please email: principal@cccc.vic.edu.au

To join the SAC, you are required to apply as admission to the group is limited to available positions. Everyone is welcome to join the P&F Network.

Thank you for your continued partnership and trust. I look forward to a blessed and flourishing year ahead.
